Here is the simple, three-step fix to disable hardware-scaling conflicts and restore your interface to normal.
The 3-Step Fix#
Step 1: Open Settings#
Launch Steam, click on the Steam menu in the top-left corner, and open the Settings panel:
Step 2: Select the Interface Tab#
Inside the settings window, select the Interface category from the sidebar:
Step 3: Disable Monitor Scaling Match#
Scroll down and uncheck the option labeled Scale text and icons to match monitor settings (requires restart):
Restart Steam, and the GUI flickering should be completely resolved!
